I bought this trailer in Maryland about 5 years ago planning to restore the 23' boat shown in the photo. However, due to recent health issues I will be unable to do that and so I must sell it. Since owning it I have kept the boat on the trailer either in a totally enclosed storage bay at Lake Martin or fully covered when in my yard.
Before originally towing it to Birmingham I installed a completely new braking system including the hitch/actuator, brake lines, hoses, and fittings (except the long line inside the frame) brake backing plates, full shoes, and wheel cylinders. The drums were reused. I installed 4 brand new tires and towed it to Birmingham. The trailer towed very well and is excellent condition.
It doesn't have a nameplate, but Alabama doesn't register boat trailers so it's not an issue here. For those non-Alabama states that might require one I have the title and EZ Loader should be able to provide one from that. Or you could register it as home made.
According to the title the trailer has a GVWR of 10,000 lbs, and I measured it at 25' LOA. The Chaparral 2300SX presently on it is 102" wide. There is a 5' gap between the hitch and the present winch location. It should be capable of handling at least a 25' boat, and possibly more.
The trailer will not be available until the Chaparral boat shown in the photos sells, but a deposit will hold the trailer until then, unless it sells with the boat. In that case I would refund your deposit. (You can buy the boat with it for just $700 more - see my other posting.)
