What You’ll Do
As a Heavy Equipment Operator with PRST, you’ll take control of a CAT320 excavator and play a vital role in land clearing operations.
You’ll:
Use attachments (buckets, thumbs, grapples, rippers) to remove trees, stumps, brush, and debris.
Dig, grade, and level terrain with precision to prepare the land for its next big purpose.
Safely load materials into dump trucks or organize them into designated piles.
Perform routine maintenance checks on your equipment to keep things running smoothly.
What You Bring to the Table
Experience: Proven skills operating hydraulic excavators like the CAT320 in commercial land-clearing or construction environments.
Expertise: Ability to handle vegetation, stumps, and material stacking with precision.
Attention to Detail: Skilled in grading, trenching, and working with different soil types.
Mechanical Know-How: Basic maintenance and troubleshooting abilities (e.g., checking fluids, recognizing hydraulic leaks).
Physical Stamina: Capable of standing, bending, and walking for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Team Spirit: A strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate effectively with your crew.
Safety First Attitude: Knowledge of safety protocols to keep yourself and your team safe.
Must be 18 years or older and have prior experience in commercial heavy equipment operation.
Your Schedule
Hours: Work a steady 5x8 schedule (Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week) with opportunities for extra hours when the job demands.
