I've got a really nice furnished bedroom opening up in my place, and I'm looking for a decent roommate to fill it. The room comes with its own private bathroom, which is honestly a game-changer – no more waiting in line or dealing with someone else's mess.
What you're getting:
The room is already set up with everything you need – bed, dresser, desk, the works. You'll have your own key and can come and go as you please. I'm pretty laid-back about lifestyle choices – gay, straight, bi, whatever makes you happy. We're all just people trying to get by, right?
House rules (nothing crazy):
Look, I'm not trying to be anyone's parent here, but I do need someone who can keep their space clean. The bathroom and bedroom should stay reasonably tidy – I'm not expecting hotel-level spotless, just basic adult cleanliness. Kitchen use is totally fine, but clean up after yourself and bring your own groceries.
Smoking's cool if you do it outside. I've had problems with people bringing drama and substances into the house before, so let's just keep things chill and substance-free.
The practical stuff:
Rent is $410 monthly, plus a $300 security deposit that you'll get back when you move out (assuming no damage). Overnight guests are fine – I'm not running a monastery here. Just give me a heads up if it's going to be a regular thing.
Everything's included in that $410 – electric, water, trash pickup, internet, and you can use the washer and dryer whenever you need to. Just don't go crazy and do 15 loads a day or something.
What I need from you:
You'll need reliable income (pay stubs, employment letter, whatever proves you can cover rent) and your own transportation. I'm not trying to be anyone's taxi service, and this area isn't great for public transit.
About me:
I work full-time and keep to myself most of the time, but I'm friendly enough. I'm looking for someone similar – responsible, employed, and drama-free.
