We have been doing this for 7 years with the no safety and security issues. Our many short term guests or tenants have included traveling nurses and other healthcare employees, professionals or contractors on short assignment in Birmingham, white collar workers in different industries in the city, short term visitors to the city.
SETUP INSURES MAXIMUM PRIVACY (LIKE YOUR OWN STUDIO APARTMENT)
The 2nd floor of this fairly huge house is dedicated to short terms guests and tenants. Only 2 generally rented, although there are 3 rooms available. Unlike other setups of other houses where you have to through people's living or dining rooms before you can get to your room, this set up is different.
You open the front door with your keyless code, you walk a few steps to the stairs (on your right) that takes you to 2nd floor exclusive domain for guests. Most of the time, you won't see anyone or no one will see you (like in an apartment) when you enter or exit the house.
