Rehoming my 6‑year‑old male cat
I’m looking for a stable, permanent home for my cat due to an upcoming move where I’m unable to bring him with me. He’s a large, gentle boy who does best in a calm, predictable environment.
About him
• 6 years old
• Front‑declawed (back claws intact)
• Very friendly and social
• Good with dogs
• Good with kids
• Loves to sleep next to you
• Big appetite — could benefit from portion control
• Indoor only
Ideal home
He would do best with:
• A homeowner (not a rental situation)
• An older couple or a family with older kids
• A quiet, stable household where he won’t be rehomed again
I’m being selective because I want to make sure he doesn’t end up in another temporary situation. He deserves a long‑term, committed home.
Why I’m rehoming
I’m moving and cannot take him with me. This is not a behavior issue — he’s a great cat. I just want to make sure he goes somewhere safe, stable, and permanent.
