I had the TX-P, LX-P, and G-P versions of this pedal at the same time along with an 1176 rack unit a few years back and still have this one and the G-P. They have a reputation as a good 1176 style guitar and bass pedal, I'm here to tell you it's a great 1176 period with the added benefit of a parallel comp/mix knob and a great boost. The Lundahl transformer on the LX-P is so transparent it didn't add much over the non-transformer versions to my ear. I'll miss being able to stack them but I'm married to the G-P as a front end for guitar and bass so this one might have to go. Runs unbalanced with a TR input for instruments and balanced with a TRS input for other sources. Like new with original packaging.
