Up for sale is a 1964 Gibson Falcon (GA-19RVT) tube amp. This amp has been converted to the Tweed era falcon specs by a great tech, Steve Hunter of Athens’ Thee Electrik Church
In its stock mode , the later Falcons are quite anemic . With the modifications , this one sounds amazing with a great overdriven sound halfway up the dial, very much like a tweed Fender. It also features the most lush reverb and tremolo I’ve ever heard.
One last cool feature of this amp is a 1/4' direct out which is handy for recording or if you want to use the amp as a standalone reverb for mixing.
15 watts, Fully serviced , all original transformers, foot-switch, reverb tank , and mostly original or vintage tubes. Original speaker will be included along with newer replacement speaker
Im in Atlanta but will be coming through FLA/ Alabama soon . No trades
