The Opportunity:
Are you a seasoned low-voltage technician who knows what they’re doing and prefers to work independently?
I.T. Inspirations LLC is looking for a highly skilled, reliable technician for commercial IT infrastructure and cabling projects. We need a pro who can grab a work order, drive to the site, and knock out the job solo with clean, high-quality results.
This is a part-time, flexible position with varying weekday hours. If you already have your own gear, your own vehicle, and you are looking to pick up commercial project work where you are trusted to run the site yourself, this is for you.
What You Will Be Doing:
100% Commercial Work: No residential gigs.
Running, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting Cat6 cabling.
Installing and mounting commercial network equipment and racks.
Reading and flawlessly executing strict Scopes of Work with professional wire management.
The Reality of the Job (Please Read Before Applying):
You are flying solo: There is no training provided. You will be the only technician on site, so you must have the experience to troubleshoot and complete the job independently.
Bring your own ride: We do not provide company vehicles. You must have your own reliable transportation to get yourself and your tools to job sites.
Travel required: You must be willing to travel within a 30 to 40-mile radius of your own location to reach job sites (we pay for your one-way travel time).
Bring your own tools: You must show up fully equipped. Required tools include a punch-down tool (110/66), RJ45 crimpers, snips, wire strippers, network cable tester, toner/probe kit, power drill, impact driver, basic hand tools, and fish tape/glow rods.
