They will make a wonderful gift idea for the bird lover in your family. Peacocks are majestic and captivating to watch. I have never found them to be at all aggressive. They get along well with chickens, pheasants, geese, guineas, turkeys and ducks. Peafowl are easily kept in confinement but after they become accustomed to their new home they can be allowed to free range. While it is possible to keep just one peacock, they are much happier with a mate, and less inclined to roam during the breeding season. My birds are NPIP certified free and clear from Avian Influenza and Pullorum. Prices vary depending on color, gender, and age, starting at 150.. and up.
