I’m selling my 2012 Nissan Versa S Hatchback (VIN 3N1BC1CP0CK247565). I recently bought a new vehicle and would like to sell my car to a new home. I originally bought the car from Hertz in 2013 with 40,925 miles. It currently has 171,000 Miles. This car has served me well as my daily driver for the past 13 years, and it would be the perfect economical daily driver or a great car for a new driver.
The drivetrain is a1.8L inline 4-cyclinder engine with a timing chain (not a belt) paired with a four-speed torque converted automatic (not a CVT). Both have been very reliable and have never had any major issues. It gets around 30 MPG on the highway and comes with cruise control. The hatchback is great for carrying large items, and the rear seats as well as the front passenger seat all fold to create more cargo room. I have been able to carry a 9’6” surfboard inside. It also comes with a dash cam with front and rear cameras. The car has never been smoked in and there are no odors. The interior is clean and comes with the factory floor mats. The steering wheel is wrapped in leather. All the buttons and switches are operational and work as they should. There are no lights on the dash. The radio and CD player work well. The car spent most of its’ life in New York. It was well cared for in the winter and had an annual fluid film coating on the bottom as well as regular car washes in the winter. It has no visible rust undercarriage rust.
Our family did the majority of the maintenance ourselves. Maintenance history highlights include the following:
-Full synthetic oil changes every 5K miles along with regular engine and cabin air filter changes
-New Denso Alternator 2016
-Transmission fluid changed at 100K and 133K miles
-New Denso Spark Plugs and Coolant Flush at 114K miles
-New Monroe front and rear shocks at struts 121k miles, with alignment
-New Catalytic Converter 154K miles
-New Accessory Drive belt 11/2024
-New Vredestein Tires 2025 with alignment
-New Windshield 2025
-New Engine Starter 2026
-New front brake pads and rotors and an oil change were done in preparation for the sale.
Honest Flaws: The car has a history of two small accidents that occurred while the car was parked in the street in the spring of 2022. It was hit once on the left rear passenger door and again on the bumper. Both were repaired at a licensed body shop. The clear coat on the left side mirror and center rear tail light are peeling. The driver’s floor mat has a hole in it. There are miscellaneous dents and chips on the exterior as would be expected from a car of this age and mileage.
The car has a clean North Carolina title in my name. There is no lien on the vehicle.
