I'd like to play bass, or better ~ my baritone guitar, if I find another bassist. You must be a tight musician, be able to play pretty fast, not super speed, but lazy is out. Needed would be a good drummer and at least one guitarist. Fender sounding guitars are best for surf, but don't let that stop you if you don't have one. Keyboard and/or tenor sax would be welcome additions. We won't worry about lyrics at this point, but may end up with a few numbrs to sing, original or cover. Dick Dale, Link Wray, The Ventures and any of that old stuff is great, and there are dozens of excellent surf bands which have followed them, so pick out a few covers you like and bring them to the project.

Age, religion, ethnicity, sex, smoking, booze or other drug habits matter not, so long as you are not a thief or compulsive liar, and it does not affect your attendance or make you play sloppy. Politics is another interest of mine. I am not an Obama supporter, but I'd rather not have to deal with any mouth breathing reactionaries or neo-cons. It wouldn't matter at practice, but I'd like to be on friendly terms with my bandmates, and I am a passionate leftist. Just don't worry about it if you don't care about politics.
