My name is April. My husband and i have now been homeless for four days. My husband was working for the Jefferson County Schoolboard and we had a beautiful 4 bedroom home in fultondale. When my husband was laid off due to cutbacks, we lost our home and now we are facing a couple of hard weeks down the road. We are both employed now. I am working at a deli and my husband just started a salary job making $20,000 a year. The thing is, he doesn't get paid for another two and a half weeks and until then, won't have a checkstub to prove his employment. We are in need of housing NOW. If you rent out apartments or can help us in anyway please respond to the above email address. We are NOT looking for a handout, we are looking for someone that will trust us to pay in a little less than 3 weeks, or let us stay somewhere and pay you when we can. We can pay you some cash now.
