It measures 78.5" tall x 40" wide by 32" deep, though there is a cut out in the back should you require more depth clearance for your TV. The main doors retract on slides and can be pushed inside the unit when watch TV so they don't stick out. With the doors retracted, you can fit a 30" wide TV--obviously you can go a little wider with the doors not retracted. Vertical clearance in the TV compartment is 40". There is a built-in black shelf for the TV to sit on that allows a DVD player or whatever to go below. The cabinet at the bottom has a retractable shelf for holding CDs or DVDs. There is a hole between this compartment and the one above to allow for cables to go through. Best of all, there is a powerstrip installed inside the unit for you to plug everything into so you don't have a bunch of cords sticking out of the back. It's a gorgeous, large piece. I've included close ups to try to show some of the detail. It's solid wood and has beautiful, ornate hinges. Please excuse the clutter as we're currently using it for storage. Like I said, we're moving and need to get rid of it before we go so make an offer.
